These rental units have been converted from an old commercial building and are linked via the amenities floor to its lower-end sister property First on Tenth. These apartments take on the loft styling by having ducting and industrial style ceilings on view. The suites are quite large with good size living rooms and open plan kitchen, although the bedrooms are on the small side. The finishes and fixtures are all high-end, with large double door fridge freezer, microwave, stove and dishwasher, all of which are stainless steel. The countertops are quartz and the flooring vinyl plank. All units have air conditioning and in-suite laundry.
It is located close to the CN rail tracks, so noise from the trains may be a concern. It is also close to the Calgary Tower which can occasionally be noisy with music and bell noise.
The amenities are shared with First on Tenth and include a large gym, party room, outdoor patio area, media room, basketball court and rooftop lounge. Parking is in the adjoining garage.

Lofts on First are deceiving. While the aesthetic of the loft units are nice with high ceilings, nice light fixtures, and spacious open concept layout, the rest of the building and the management company is awful. Timbercreek management has been absolutely useless in managing any type of concern. The elevators are constantly broken and there is no direct access to the staircase from the lobby. Instead, you have to access a sketchy side door around the building and start climbing the stairs. The intercom system has been broken for over a year, with no visible attempts to fix it. The staff at the leasing office are usually unhelpful and not empathic to the regular frustrations of the tenants. I could go on and on about Timbercreek – they are a joke.
