This is a new rental building, having opened in July 2018. It is a wood construction building built and managed by Trico Homes as affordable housing in Calgary. Located in the Northwest close to SAIT, it is close to 16 Avenue NW which is a busy road, so could be an issue for some suites. The suites are large and feel roomy and bright, thanks to the large windows.
The suites have high-end finishes with modern full-height cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances which include fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and range. The suites also have full-size washer dryers. The flooring is vinyl plank to the living room, bathrooms and kitchen and the bedrooms have carpet. The two-bedroom unit bathrooms have a large double vanity. The suites we saw had lots of storage options and some have large laundry closets. All units have either large balconies or patios.
The building also has two outdoor patio areas that overlook the city. Other amenities include storage lockers and bike storage in the heated underground parking garage.

We’ve been living here for a few months now and are very happy to have chosen this place. Spacious units, good heating, spacious hallway and a heated underground garage with bike lockers. I just wish parking would be cheaper as street parking can be problematic in the evening.
The property manager (Philip) does a fantastic job keeping everything clean and in working order. If there’s an issue, it’s usually resolved right away or dealt with asap. Mailboxes were broken into last fall, they changed the entire layout and added more cameras within a few days/weeks. Noise from 16 Ave can be irritating at night if your windows are facing east, south or west. That is mostly due to truck traffic, street racing or engines backfiring, other than that it’s nothing that you wouldn’t expect living in an inner city area. Fantastic neighborhood with beautiful parks nearby, and SAIT is just across the street.
