Calgary Place is located in the west side of downtown Calgary and has two 37 storey towers with 608 suites. The apartments are being updated as they become available. But even with the updates, the apartments are still on the lower end of upgrading. Appliances are white and include fridge freezer, stove and dishwasher and the countertops are laminate. This is a cat-friendly building, but no dogs are allowed.
There are some amenities in the building which include a shared laundry and a large gym Outside there is a large garden area which occupies the space between the two towers. In this garden area is an outdoor, seasonal swimming pool that comes with a changing room/bathroom area that can be used by guests as well as residents.
Parking is available through the Indigo parking garage which sits below the garden area between the two towers. Resident parking in the basement levels, but upper-level covered parking is also allowed.

My husband and I moved into the west tower – summer 2013. Quadreal now owns and manages the building. The common areas of the building is regularly cleaned, since Covid more care is taken with cleaning the common areas. The laundry room is cleaned every weekday morning. The building managers work to keep this building smoke free and regularly post reminders that the building is smoke free, complaints of smoking are taken seriously. Overall the staff are friendly. When a repair request is submitted, it is dealt with promptly. I enjoy the terrace. The building drawback is the fire alarms. Unfortunately there are many but I think a number of downtown high rises get many fire alarms too. On the flip side – everybody knows the fire alarms do work. We live vehicle free. When we have out of town parents visit there are lots of payed parking spots available.

Large package was stolen from the mail room. Package torn open and contents stolen . . Looked but did not find or see security camera. Notified management . No follow up.
After being here only 6 months my apartment has been flooded twice from above. ( not just a little bit of water a great deal of water ).
I do a great deal of work form my computer and these inconveniences make it very hard to continue.
As for the rest it is all quite adequate for my needs.

No, Please avoid. Very rude staff, Elevator is always broken, full of homeless surrounding and no effort on cleanliness. Neighbors are smoking weed all the times and no action taken. Not good at least for families. Multiple bad experiences

The staff are poor and do not get things done. The elevator is always breaking and too many train noises.
